I posted this question in another section and was adviced by a friendly member to re-post my question here to get more members to reply, so here goes:

Sorry to be asking a question many of you will find nosy but you are free to ignore it. And it's certainly not my rights to know but I don't mind being flamed a bit for being nosy.
I am 23 years old and would like to work in a business where "the money" is located. Currently studying finance wanting to get into property trading when I am done studying.

I would greatly appreciate if any of you owning nice cars would mind telling what sort of business you are in that allowed you the purchase of your dream car? Investing in properties, owning a business that produces something, brokering stocks, trading financial products, lawyers, dentists? Just in general.

All the best smile

There was a similar thread in the Porsche section a while ago, and I think it was binned. Not sure why though.

After what 4 minutes already 3 answer that doesn't answer my question. Fair enough - but I did say you could ignore my question if you didn't want to answer.

You would be far better pursuing personal happiness and self development over material possessions - unless you want to become some king of shallow Patrick Batemanesque figure.

Having been both poor and unhappy, and reasonably well off and miserable, I'll let you guess which I preferred....

Hi Bingo,

Thank you for your answer and yes I do know what you prefered. Thank you for your advice which is appreciated and I do know happiness is the most important thing.

I am not asking for happiness advice though.

I don't mind the jokes and sarcasm though. Although I prefer to get a useful answer.
