So there we are at Ring Star Speke airport (John Lennon Liverpool to give it it's more usual name)
At the checkin with our 4 bags, and the Nice Easy Jet Lady with make up to match the company colours (It's liverpool - home of Spray tan !!) is having trouble concerntrating. In fact she's livid she's not at the speedy check-in desk where Jose 'Pepe' Reina is checking in.

Now he paid extra for speedy board, and the £10 for the first class lounge, but is he that underpaid he does not own his own airline ?

Not sure where he was heading but it was not Geneva so we can assume he was not carrying used tenners to put in a swiss bank account for 'services rendered' ala Mr Bruce G.

Has anyone seen any other 'Stars' in Cattle Class ?

He saw some soccer player checking in for an Easyjet flight. Maybe Easyjet are the only airline that fly Liverpool to where he wanted to go.

It's international week so I expect he was flying to Madrid. Spain are at home to Bosnia.

Bizarre he flies Sleazy though.

I am a multi-billionaire property tycoon/oil baron/tanker driver and I always fly Easy Jet.

I just really like their peanuts.

Just checked - BA don't fly that route. The other choice is RyanAir, I think.

Sleazy >>> RyanAir

I would have thought most teams would charter a plane and fly together?

Ryanair to Toulon sat next to Tara PT.
Toulon and Nice are the closest airports to St Tropez if you aren't flying private apparently.

I would.

Does it matter? It could be convenience for times and airports you know....

Not everyone wants to get to some bloody big airport and share the waiting areas with 1000's of people. My local airport is Bristol which is not served by any major airlines in a decent way. Sleazyjet do loads of flights and often they are the most convenient. I had them, but if it saves me milling around at an airport for 2 hours its a good thing.

His VLJ went US 4 hours before scheduled take-off. Easyjet next best thing, can very convenient. Just slower. He really needs to build more redundancy into his fleet of aircraft.

It's an international weekend, so he's off to Spain. Surprised he didn't travel in a small charter with the rest of Liverpool's Spanish contingent though... hehe

Mind, Torres in injured and maybe Alonso isn't in the squad...

Once got on an easy jet flight from Palma Majorca with Mel C of Spice Girls fame. This was after they reformed and went on tour, can't imagine she was short of cash at that point...
