SORRY!
this thread really is about Kebabs! I've just picked up a kebab from our local van (after the pub, of course!) Why is it that a) they have to overfill them so much? And b) they wrap them in paper?
By the time I got it home (all of 5 minutes) the juices had seeped through the first couple of layers of paper and stuck to it. Now picture the scene.... a soggy, limp kebab, stuck to layers of paper, and I've had a few beers1 Chaos! bits of kebab all over the plate soggy paper stuck to fingers, some paper completely bonded to the kebab and turned clear, so you can't find it until you start eating it!
FFS why can't they put them in plastic dishes!

A good point. Concise and well made.

You obviously need to drink more beer.

Your obviously asking for one of those limp wristed faggy donner kebabs.

Next time you go there, march up to said Turkish man, and announce "large donner and chips fella" you will be greeted (hopefully) by a polystyrene tub, one side laden with chips the other plump with meat. Then proceed to mayo the st out of it and add greenery or onions to your taste, before destruction hehe

Or they may wrap it in paper, but round my way its all trays and I love it.

Well then leave a longer time for the beer to soak in and you will happily munch the paper without noticing.. I speak from experience here yes

Kebabs are best consumd imediately after being served, as is, in the paper and should under no circumstances ever be shown anything as civilised as a plate nono

Be sure to drip the contents down your best clubbing attire wherever possible, and do make it really obvious otherwise in the morning when you are putting your shirt in the machine you will be faced with a "Oh I had a kebab last night?" Moment "I don't remember that!" which causes a direct monitoring of alcahol levels on the next expedition and somewhat ruins the night.

Here endeth the SS HSV Kebab Guide wink

When I gave up drinking I found that the kebab fairy no longer swapped my pillow with a kebab. Never good to wake up to especially when the chilli sauce has made it into your eyes overnight.

There was a time, when I would eat these EVERY night.

Those who know the roundabout towards Farnham near Odiham in Hampshire will know the man, he is a good man, an honest man. He also showed me his meat stash (hehe) near the RAF camp, never before had I seen perfection in person..
