Anyone?

What happened?

I just thought a positive thread would make a nice change to all the moaning about the government biggrin

Sorry, mine was sh!te and I'm faced with an evening of work as well.

Still, I have got a week off in a couple of weeks so there is at least a bright spot on the horizon.

Well, it's my birthday today, not done anything special yet, in a good mood though!

I've been sat on my sofa feeling ill and being thwarted by Frenchmen every time I try to do some work.

Brilliant.

Have handed in my notice for my job, starting a better one in five weeks, with a week in between to go and get smashed at Oktoberfest!

Woke up, staggered around my flat, was sick, phoned work and pretended to be ill rather than hung over, then went back to bed. Then logged onto Bloomberg and saw lots of red numbers and decided I'd better satgger in after all.

Feel like cr*p, still have a headache, and have comprehensively fallen off the wagon. Again.

Okay.....not exactly amazing then....

Days going well. I've got rid of the bint that talked while the telly was on furiouspunch and I'm going on another date tomorrow, she's an old flame and really dirty. Been clearing out the garage and am selling loads of parts, to the value of approx 3k. woohoo

I have a day off, had a party last night, didn't get home until 11 this morning, then checked out a Scirocco, then I had my hair made less horrible by a lovely young thing, and now I'm planning on sleeping and enjoying my day/

Mines been dull as st. It's quite a nice day though so I think I'm going to take the car out for a spin which should improve things.

I've just been getting quotes for getting my engine rebuilt to a better spec and to give me more power.

I like stuff like this.

Therefore - Good day.

Same st, different day.
Hopefully get better lately when I collect the bits to repair chassis on my Wedge.

And I've only got another 9 days, 22 hours and 58 minutes before I leave this job!

I woke up, with no idea whatsoever of how I got home. I lost a couple of hours between Eleven PM and 1 AM this morning. All of the clothes I was wearing last night are soaking wet, I lost New Street Station in Birmingham (Just couldn't find it, I was sure it was where I thought it was, but it seemed to have vanished), and I have very hazy memories of splashing about in the water feature that is in the "inner city beach" effort part of Brum.......

Oh and I have just had to have a tooth drilled at the dentist, with a steaming, raging, pounding inferno of a hangover..........

not a bad day so far............

Not bad at all.

I've managed to get a lot of work done and been able to dip into PH every so often plus the rain has stopped so it's out in the Riley this evening for Steak or Pasta at The White Hart.

Could be a lot worse.
