Looking at various immigration application forms, they all seem to ask what you last trade/job was, as points are based on them.

No degrees for me smile
I would find that a hard subject to fill in as my last job theoretically would be my least experienced subject.

I've more than one professional trade, I have done a 4 year welding apprenticeship, then became a fully skilled metalworker/welder/inspector, for approx 8+ years.
Then driving lorries, and getting a CPC, (transport managers certs)

Another career change approx for 12 years moved into IT, got the usual micost and other certs, large IT companies, blah blah blah.

Recently jacked in the IT game & qualified as a Gas Engineer qualified as an ACS/Corgi engineer yikes
Would immigration not recognise that you can have more than one profession.

I mean within a month I'm sure I would be back up to speed on what I did many moons ago.
I'm not immigrating just curious, would additional skills be accepted.
My first career seems more in demand around the world than say IT.

Jack of all trades master of all!

Well, surely that depends on what country?

i.e. if it's Australia then look to see which skill/trade they want the most, and go with that?

all depends on the country aswell , and the type of visa you are after if its a work visa i would suggest you list them all .

look at what the country requires , for instance auz and nz require joiners and plumbers and so on , so that would be what i would piut down , also might be good to list what you job u plan to do when you get there .

also some countrys require that you have been in the trade you are applying for on your visa that you have been doing it for the last 4yrs
