Short Break suggestions

We're coming back to the UK to get married (on a Sunday).

We've got to stay in the UK until the following Saturday for my sister in laws 40th birthday.

Then we head back out to the Alps for the Ski Season.

The wedding is near Stow on the Wold and the birthday party is in Beckenham

So we need suggestions of what to do for the Monday to Saturday.

I've still never been skiing in my life. I suspect that age and size mean that i probably have missed my optimal years... ah well. Hopefully catch up with you soon, that ST is missed on the tunnel runs.
