The other week I got a call from BT asking if we would like to change from having paper bills posted to us to an e-mail service. For this we would save about £10 per year. All part of reducing carbon footprint.

No problem for us, so readily agreed.

Since then we have had two separate letters thanking us for making the change...............

I kid you not.

A bit like our energy provider that gets me to read the meters and fill in the data online but yet sends somebody round to read the meters at roughly the same interval.

Why?

NPower have started putting a card through the door to thank me for providing a meter reading. Waste of paper.

Domino's Pizza are spending a big chunk of their marketing budget delivering leaflets about their Pizza delivery service to homes in my area... even though we're at least three miles too far from their nearest outlet to get a Pizza delivered by them.

Waste of paper and bloody frustrating.

"Logic" and "BT" rarely seem to sit well together I've found...

On what grounds was it in the wrong forum and what difference does it make?

E-on?

If so we have the same provider and package.
