Hi, taking the good lady to London for a few days in early October, staying at the Berkeley. Going to restaurants on a couple of nights but fancied doing a few bars on the Friday night, are there any recomendations in the immediate area that are walkable. Blue bar and the Bar at the Mandarin are the only ideas so far, don't get down to London that often so I would really appreciate any help.

Knightsbridge/Chelsea Bar specialist.

Eclipse on Walton St is my favourite bar in London. (5 mins walk from ur hotel).

Townhouse on Beechamp Place is decent as well. (3mins walk from ur hotel).

Enjoy

Try The Beauchamp on Beauchamp Place, just down the road from Harrods, nice little bar/ pub. Zuma is good if you like sake, as they have quite a few to choose from. I like the cocktails in the MU Lounge in the Millenium, just across the road from Harvey Nicks, although it's not the best place for atmosphere.

Probably a cross between the two, good atmosphere, busy, with plenty of interesting looking people to talk about...

For me it would have to be Kensington Roof gardens, on a nice night ( ie no rain ) it is lovely, loads of outdoor space to relax, good buzz, not massively expensive as long as you shy away from getting a table in VIP and don't order Vodka by the bottle, nice little area for dancing, and they let you do coke in the toilets.
