..who would it be? 6 people, past or present.

I was asked this yesterday, and after very little thought I came up with:

1. Adolf Hitler – For no other reason than I would like to see what he was really like, I wouldn’t be too keen on inviting round the house though!

2. Tutankhamun - I think the Egyptians understood far more than they passed on to us.

3. Lou Reed - To hear some of his tales about Warhol, the Velvet underground, bowie ect..

4. Ronnie Barker - Goes without saying really, such a funny guy, I'm sure he would be fantastically entertaining.

5. Neil Armstrong - Who wouldnt want to hear from a guy that walked on another planet! I'd love to hear the stories about how basic the technology was back then and how much really was unknown and left to chance.

6. Bettie Page - Well I've got to address the balance here! And I know who I’d like to be talking to at the end of the night wink

Any relation of Sir Ranulph Fiennes? wink

He is an awesome person - met him a couple of years ago, sadly all too briefly. He'd be on my list.

Others might be: Spike Milligan, Edmund Hillary, Donald Campbell, Syd Barrett and Dorothy Parker.

I think you'd be dissappointed. His achivements are indeed awesome. My Dad knew him and I've met him once. He is very dead pan, quite serious and probably doens't do dinner parties very well at all.

I think I'd go for

Team A
Freddie Forsyth
Maggie Thatcher
Ken Clarke
Peter Hichens

Team B
Ken Livingstone
Dennis Skinner
Germaine Greer
Peter Hichens brother.

Sit back and watch the fireworks.

The only one of those I'd care to sit and spend time with normally would be Freddie. I'd just like an explosive mix.
