Aviation Conference in the county but near London Heathrow?

I have a number of colleagues coming to the UK from all over the world in June. We need a conference facility and hotel, only for 30 people. Most of the visitors will be arriving in to London Heathrow and I don’t really fancy giving them a 2hr cab ride after a long flight.

Does anyone have some ideas? We would like it to be in the country, not on the Bath Road like the last one was!

So far I have the Manor of Groves in Sawbridgeworth, looks good and being shown around next week.

So come on, any ideas?

Must be some nice places around Runnymede - riverside hotels and the like

Burnham Beeches Hotel , quite a nice retreat, just North of Taplow .

edit : very quiet country location, near Cliveden (sp? ),

or ..... if money no object then Cliveden is rather grand.

Stoke Park at Stoke Poges is v.nice. Had my wedding reception here and can recommend it. It's also got the 007 Goldfinger golf course connection which of course makes it super cool.

There is also another Conference Centre nearby called Stoke Place I think - don't think its connected with the above, looks ok but never been in.

I used to attend conferences at Great Fosters near Egham.

It's not too far from Maranello Concessionaires (the Ferrari People).

Oakley Court Windsor
Castle Hotel Windsor
Runnymede Hotel Egham

All within 30 mins of LHR

I've used "The Castle Hotel" and "Sir Cristopher Wren's House", both in Windsor, for putting up UK and overseas colleagues.
