Where from? Haven't seen that anywhere!

I love this series, head and shoulders above anything else for a long while - I loved the fact the doctor smoked whilst seeing to his patients, it doesn’t preach morality, talking down to viewers in a way that Star Trek did, constantly, and the special effects are simply stunning, complimenting the (quite) adult story lines perfectly.

I have aquired Season 1 on DVD following a recommendation from a mate. I started watching and immediately realised there may have been a pilot or other prequel to what I was watching (biggest hint was the 'Previously' intro!). Is the Mini Series that I found on Amazon a prequel to Season 1? Or do I have the wrong end of the stick?

There was a two-part film / mini-series that immediately precedes Series 1.

Great episode - good start to the new series.

Only criticism (avoiding spoliers) is that Cylon ship that crashed without exploding at the end - just HOW obvious was that?

And the blonde cylon didn't appear as much as usual

And even worse her dress was quite decent

BG really is remarkably good (no, not you Warren!) - so much so that I've just had to order season 1 from play.com

Now, about that DVD version of season 2...
