Had a flat on the car last week (rear tyres a little bald!) so I used the spare and haven't had a chance to replace it yet. At work just finishing a night shift now and noticed that there is another flat on the other side at the rear. So I now have a flat in the boot and one on the car!

Thing is, whoever had the car before me put non-standard size tyres on it (225/55ZR15's) which are a nightmare to get hold of, and absolutely NO-ONE stocks them. I have to match up the sizes too as the car's a bloody 4WD! So I'm in a little pickle about what to do.

There is a halfords down the road, I could buy a can of tyreweld or two I guess and try to hobble home on that (from Chiswick to Reading) via the back roads.

Or try my luck with a mobile tyre service, but I've a feeling that could take all day if not a couple.

I finish my shift in 5 five minutes (7.30) and no matter what can't hit the road till 9.00ish when halfords open. I've been awake since 8.00 yesterday aswell and just wanna get home! Not likely till about midday now!

Balls!!! Is all I can say! Was going to order new tyres today too!

Buy a 12V powered air compressor, pump it up, see how fast it goes down. If its a slow one, then drive to the tyre fitter in stages and have both tyres repaired.
