I purchased one today and its a smart bit of kit. I recommend it, sooo much better than the cr*p Samsung D500 I have put up with and even thinner than the RAZR.

Form over function but as its not on any providers websites yet or even motorola's, flash gitness down the pub award currently belongs to me!

What are the included headphones like? Can you use your own headphones with it?

I believe that you can add up 512MB with some kind of micro SD card. The original V3 had a fixed ammout of memory (5MB?)

I got one for xmas, now I'm trying to get hold of the accessories...... mini USB pc interface, stereo heaphones for the MP3 player and a memory chip (512mb).... have you had any luck?

Can't see any reference to the SLVR on the motorola website, and the phone shops either haven't heard of teh phone or haven't started to sell the accessories

Should help. Picture quality is not that bad baring in mind the pixel size, but it still looks as good as my old d500 for normal photos. Again though its more the phone itself as I have a digital camera, it takes transflash cards which currently go upto 512mb but the 1 and 2 gb ones are not far away. Phones 4 U have them and orange get them next week. You do need to buy headphones and sync sw but you can also download the software from various websites or so I have heard...

Its been on the Vodafone website for a couple of months, they are doing it for free on new tarriffs and upgrades (I was offered it the other day).

Nice looking, but I tried the razr and thought the interface was rubbish, so sticking with Nokia. But very nice looking phone you have there

Whats wrong with the Samsung D500? Its a great phone.

Motorola are notorious for having some of the worst software going, no matter how good your new phone may look.

Agree with the Motorola thing. I can never get my brothers to do what I want it to.

Samsung D500. Pretty phone. Tough phone. Small phone..... Shite operating system.

O.k., I'll just send a text message. set on Predictive text. write sms. send. Oh I'll think I'll send another one, write message and the bu66er had turned back to normal text so i have 2 lines of Serbo Croat. B******D!

Take picture with phone. Try to send it by MMS. "sorry it's too big to send" Well why the F*** did you let me take it then? If I want to take massive pictures I'll buy a camera you B******S!

Send an SMS. Close the screen before it's finished. "Saved to draft." C***!!! I didn't want to save it and fill the memory with shite.

Send a group SMS by having to choose everytime between typing the number or going into the phonebook for each person. Message fails due to no service. Message saved in draft but not the recipients... Do it ALL again. Crap!!!

Create message. "do you want to send it or send it and save it" Why TF would I want to save a message. I HAVE a memory you know you B******S!

Back to Nokia next time.

The d500 drove me insane, it beeped or played little annoying tunes for everything. The worst being when you try and use a java app and that clown thing AAAAGH

You cant touch it whilst its sending a message as it then fails, there is no normal ring tone, the message and alarm tones were designed for 11 year olds, it has fixed memory, the camera is rubbish 1.3MP my ar5e. Predictive text that turns off.....

And relax......
