A week in Tignes/Val D'Isere from Sunday - Cant wait - think I've spent more time looking at weather and snow reports than anything else in the last week! Should be superb by - plenty of snow and quiet slopes this time of year. Only worry is that its -10 in resort and -15 at altitude - not factoring in windchill! Brrrrrr

You lucky fecker. Have a good one.
Went to the Italian side over the new year, not very much snow, but we're going to the 3 valleys in Feb. Interested to hear how the snow is, where are you going ( which village )

lucky lucky lucky bugger, I went there a few years ago.... it was bloody marvellous.
Went to Meribel a couple of years ago and skied most of the Three Vallies. Iv'e been told Chamonix is excellent for off-piste which is something I've wanted to do more of. Fingers crossed for good powder! I'm guessing everyone booked for this week (7th-14th) did so because the prices are almost half what they are currently? So glad I don't have children
