Hate the damn things.

I want to remortgage to the lowest fixed rate no strings deal I possibly can on an interest only payment.

As soon as I try to find a decent deal on the web I get caught up in all sorts of cr@p (eg give us all your details on this non secure link and we'll let you see more of this 1% fixed for 20 years with no payments for 15 of them).

So - I'm very happy to pay someone for straight-forward no bull advice as to who is offering right now in the real world a good remortgage deal.

Mail me offline if you want or let's do it here - I'm happy both ways unless you need personal details.

YHM sir, or shall I let smirnoff have this one?

by the way, when you say you want the lowest possible rate, off the top of my head you'll be looking at the 0.001% fixed rate for 6 months followed by a 5 year tie in at 5.39% from the yorkshire..or more realistically, the lowest rate with no tie in, no higher lending charge and not a stepped product would be probably be the abbey 2 year tracker @ 4.54%

of course, this all depends on your circumstances etc

Thanks.

Fancy having 2 mortgage threads running on PH at the same time - how unlikely is that - not!

About as likely as three concurrent watch threads I'd say.
