here's what I originally posted....

I was walking to my local threshers a few hours ago, heard the unmistakeable sound of an impreza at full chat, this road has cars parked on both sides and many speed bumps. I look round and sure enough, an old shape snot green impreza is weaving its way down the street at approx 50mph, anyway an SUV of some sort was coming the other way and the impreza dived round it, mijudging the gap and smashing into a parked car, horn was blaring so I presumed he hit the horn full pelt with his head. I ran over the road as their was no one nearby, the car was half up on the pavement lodged into the back of an almera. The drivers door wouldnt open so I ran round and opened the passenger door, top find a bloke just sat staring at me, blood pouring from his nose and hairline, I asked if he was okay and he said he was fine, but I could smell from the passenger side that he had alcohol on his breath. anyway long story short I called for an ambulance and police, explained I believed the driver was under the influence. I took the keys out, lay him on the pavement carefully just in case of a neck injury, by now some people had come out of the indian restaurant opposite to help. Anyway he was taken away by ambulance, kept protesting at being taken away as 'he wasnt hurt', and ive spent a bit of time giving details.

Just imagine if the tw*t hit a pedestrian behind the parked car, I felt like leaving him there if it wasnt for my humanity.

Firstly, your original thread is probably in the right place (General Gassing rather than P&P)
Secondly, a link to the original thread is generally the correct Netiquette.

In 'inhebriated' hindsight, I should have seen to the poor car first, I mean who would want to give it to an almera up the chuff.

Upon detecting the whiff of alcohol, it was actually your duty as a responsible citizen to slam the door shut again and leave the fecker to bleed to death.
