Except mine wasn't even in the sale!

New Foo Fighters album "In your Honour"

£5.97 full price from Woolworths. (Even managed to beat Play.com who have it for £6.99 delivered!) It's a double CD too - 1 rock and 1 mellow. Now that's how much a CD album should be!

It's very good too, oh

I shudder at the thought of sales so it was a result that the snow kept all the muppets from the town centre today!

Bugger - I walked past Woolies today. Had I known I would have been straight in there and added to the CD collection.

Hopefully they'll still have it on Wed when I get back to work.

Good album, there are some stonking songs on the acoustic disc too!!!

I never cease to be amused by Taylor Hawkins permanently gritted teeth as he batters the hell out of his drums! Thats the way to play'em!!!

I bought Clarkson's Heaven & Hell DVD for £4.97 from Tescrotes yesterday.
Possibly miss-priced or the days bargain.

Taylor Hawkins has to drum 'for' Dave Grohl every time he plays....

No wonder he grits his teeth!

Do you think he's hindered in some way from doing what he might do ordinarily then??? Just interested.

Taylor used to play much lighter stuff before the Foo's. I would have thought that hes getting a pretty free reign to do what he wants 'In accordance with Dave Grohls songs' obviously.

No I think you are exactly right....

I just think it must be interesting to sit behind a lead singer that you know is so well repected for his own drumming ability...

Ahhh - got ya!!!

Did you hear about Kurt Cobain not being very happy with Dave Grohls drumming - he didnt particularly rate him apparently (according to comments made by Mr Grohl in a recent interview)... Mental!

I saw that too, but I didn't realise that was his latest DVD or anything..

The best deal i got was not in any sale either.

I brought a pair of Jeans, which are very comfortable, and quite smart looking for £3!

I may go back for a half dozen more...

Have you noticed that Dave does the exact same - much more noticable with his QOTSA stuff!

I've just read though Grohl's Wikipedia entry - fascinating stuff. The man is obviously talented - and seriously busy to boot!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Grohl

I hadn't realised Wikipedia had expanded quite so much to include such level of detail on such a wide variety of topics. You can spend hours following the various links and expanding your knowledge (Although I acknowledge the potential weaknesses that it may have)
