Aaah what a lovely day, pop over to my trusty pal White_van_man 's house to check up on his so called DIY attempts of the day.

He repots to me that he needs new brake pads, so we pop out to Bracknell's Peel Centre to get some.

As we approach the NCP style barriers to get a ticket, I noticed a little girl playing with the ticket issuing machine - cute I think but can't she play with her Barbie doll or something (this was no normal girl - she was a trained pikie!)

We approach the barrier and before you know it she presses the button, the ticket goes out, and she's off !! With my flamin' ticket !

Into her pikie family's Rover 100 and out they speed (as fast a most likely stolen rover 100 with it's wheel trims missing and bits falling off can)

So now I put my hand up to apologize to the chap behind he then tries to reverse so I don't have to proceed in without a ticket.

The woman behind him in her X5 on her mobile phone refusing to budge even after Alex gets out and tries to explain it to her in words using less than 3 syllables !!

I feel so cheated ! I've never known anything like it, talk about Christmas cheer !

Sorry, but that's a new dodge that I've not heard before.

Unlucky...

I blame white_van_man for not getting out and chasing after them.

He could have placed the tracking device on the car and we could have got them later.

Ops! That was watching all those Bond DVD's yesterday, drinkin all that beer & eating that kebab talking!

I couldn't believe it, her mum yelling " GET IT QUICK " because the presence of your car rolling in issues it before you get there !

Nothing suprises me in this world anymore! And what was she going to do with the ticket? Could she have used it in a nearby carpark? If so you could have perhaps found them

No no , it's free for the first 2 hours, so if the pikies had parked up to goto Pizza hut / steal all the ice cream and then sneak into a film without paying, all they have to do to avoid paying £1.20 for parking for 3 hours is steal an innocent unsuspecting idiot's ticket (i.e. me) and they're off in a cloud of smoke!

They'd use it to get out either for free or the minimum payment, I'm assuming this car park charges by the hour based upon the time on the entry ticket. If they went in at 9am and nicked his ticket when they left at say 5pm they'd only have to pay the minimum of fees as their ticket would show a stay of less than a minute.

I have been known to drive up to ticket machines at airport parking, collect ticket then reverse back and drop a mate off to get his car out of the car park, it saves a fortune when the car has been there for a couple of months!!

Don't do this in the uk though!

Well, we have just witnessed pikies getting away with it again, We just got back from JJBs, to pick up a bike for our son, and I seen an argument start between three pikies and a (brave) stores assistant. The three pikes were trying, quite blatantly (I seen what they were doing whilst waiting for the guys to put the bike together) to steal some trainers, when approached and quizzed about this, the one pikey started to shout his mouth off, even hitting the poor assistant at one point. The lead pikey then demanded to see the manager, which he did, still swearing out loud, despite loads of kids within earshot, and guess what, he was actually offered the trainers! So, there you go, if you shout abuse at people, intimidate them and threaten them, in this country, you get away with it, it works!
I’m still shocked that no police or security were called, but, this is liberal UK, and they were ‘put upon’ pikies!

Yeah But, no but, I know how you can get out of that carpark without a ticket anyway I had to one day when i dropped my ticket down the back of the dashboard in my chavalier you just drive up behind someone really close as they are leaving its as simple as that actually.

It is true I have done the above when instead of clipping my ticket to the gap in the dashboard I pushed it through...

Cheers.

Steve

P.S. Isn't Bracknell just full of pikey scum....

I used to know a bloke who would leave a trolley near the entrance to the car park.
For almost 2 years he would push it up to the barrier, get another ticket, and pay 20p for a days parking...

Or from the other way, you've got a grop of pikies in your shop causing a ruckus. Do you stand your ground and wait for pikey reinforcements, or just give tehm £2.40 worth of trainers and tell them to off?
