Sainsbury's online shopping - aaaarrrgh bastrads!!!!

As it was approaching crimbo, mrs pilgrm & I decided to get most of the non-fresh stuff delivered before xmas, and just nip out for the turkey, veg, etc. So, at the start of December, we booked a slot with Sainsburgs to be delivered yesterday between 7-8pm, in theory to save us the last minute schlep around the supermarket.

So, 8.30came , and no shopping, so Mrs pilgrim rings them up only to be told that the order had bewen cancelled!!!! How can this be, she asked? (only not as polite) Apparently, she made the GRAVE error of going back into the order just to check she'd included something. There were no alterations made, but because she had gone back in to check the order, she should have gone through the checkout process all over again to make sure the order was still valid!!!

So I ended up in the chuffing supermarket ar 08:00 this morning after all!!

Ah nightmare lad. At least it was an early morning one giving you enough time to get the grub. Christmas eve shopping must have been nice. I had the misfortune of going to Waitrose yesterday, cars queued up to get into the car park, I later spotted a car at the front of the queue that was acting as a kindda safety car which I presumed was an employee, it wasn't it was just some stupid old lady stopping every 5 yards or so for some reason.
