Edinburgh New Year

Is there anyone heading through to Edinburgh for Hogmanay this year? Been out in Edinburgh many times but never had the pleasure of being there at New Year so this year I thought I would. Really looking forward to soaking up the atmosphere as by all accounts there is nowhere else to see in the New Year. I have got some accomodation sorted which is a relief but if anyone has anymore that they know of would I be delighted to hear to try and get more people through as well!

Has anyone been through in the past... what have you thought of it? I am guessing getting taxis is a bit of a long-shot?
