OK, so I'm being a complete bloke and leaving it to the last minute, but if anyone can help...

I want to go away for NYE but need to be back in work on the Tuesday. Can anyone suggest something suitable, not too expensive, romantic, and point me towards a decent website for a booking?

I have tried the obvious lastminute.com, but nothing really taking my fancy on there... Any help appreciated.

Polperro in Cornwall...Beautiful little fishing village that knows how to celebrate without any trouble ever. Go to visitpolperro.org for accommodation. Been going for years and love it. Take a leisurely walk around the quaint little village, have a scoop or two in the Blue Peter and a romantic meal in Nevilles.
