Cheap MP3 Players

[TheLemming]

Just returned from a brief lunchtime expedition to Tesco, where it seems thier Technica brand 256mb MP3 players are seriously on sale.

Currently £9.99, they were £30 last week...

They are about 3/4" wide by about 3" long, so pretty teeny.

Anyone after a cheap stocking filler, might be worth a visit to a big Tesco store.

Edited to add, it doesnt come with Headphones, the packaging is the nasty plastic see-through stuff, but for a tenner....

Nice action.

Does that work as a pen drive as well?

Got one on the desk in front of me, cant see any note of that in the instructions, but I would be utterly amazed if it didnt work as a USB storage device.

Every other MP3 player I know of does.

£9.99.

I've just paid £209 for an MP3 player for unrep Jr. I suppose the little sod would turn his nose up if I swapped it for the Tesco one................

Yes you can use it as a memory stick and thats what I would use it as, coz the iRiver with FM tuner is a much better MP3 player fwiw.

Bugger, and I thought I got a bargain with a 512 pen drive for £20

Just managed to fight my way through the razor sharp packaging and I'm rather impressed with this one.

It does come with headphones, which are built into a lanyard that the player attaches to, with a quick release clip for the player.

The manual confirms it does function as a USB flash drive for file storage and it also has a micophone for sound recording.

For a tenner I'm utterly impressed I'm heading down after work to pick up another couple.

There are MUCH better MP3 players out there, but they cost ten times the price upwards. Think of it as a dirt cheap flash drive that plays music as well and its a winner!
