Hard to say without sounding a bit soft and fluffy.

But here goes.....

I’m fairly new on here, and most of the time I have no idea what I am on about.
Don’t get me wrong - I do get out - I love spending time with my mates and colleagues etc, but PH offers me something else which has become an alarmingly big part of my life quite quickly.

It offers me instant friends…..likeminded (usually), common interests and yet a huge diversity.

I come on here every day, and there is always something interesting to read or join in with.
It’s a very very good site and we all have Ted to thank for that….

I just thought seeing as its Christmas I would send a message to all my new friends…who I don’t REALLY know, but with whom I exchange ideas, opinions and general banter more often than I do with my ‘real’ friends.

So….HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Thanks for all the advice, arguments and opinions that have made me smile, grumble and chuckle.

DID I GET AWAY WITH MINIMUM 'FLUFFYNESS'.....NO.....OH BUGGER.....

I echo a lot of what Gorvid said.

I'm not a driver as such, I'm still on the big red 'L' stage, but got a link to this site ages ago, decided to have a look and kinda got sucked in to it all.

Some of the funny threads have me sat here with tears streaming down my face, I admire the fact that no matter what, someone out there has been through the same, or can at least give advice/opinions.

Added to this, in some strange way, reading some of the threads has improved my understanding of driving, and so is helping me in my quest to be a 'proper' driver (all be it a long way off yet), I told the other half about mirroring NCB, he didn't believe me, but asked when he renewed his insurance.... I'm now on it and after all the blurb etc I get to inherit his. (provided I'm a good girl)

I enjoy my time on here, and want to wish you all a very merry Christmas!

My husbands fault I'm on here, he introduced me to it when he got the cerb.

Have to look every day, don't always get chance to post as much as I would like, am usually dashing off somewhere these days, hopefully it will settle down after xmas, oh yes and I have to wrestle the computer from said hubby.

But after 3 months am safely addicted.......so would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a merry xmas, and hope you all get what you wish for.

Even though we're adults (alledgedly), there really should still be some magic left for us.

Nicely put. Most of us are now unemployed as a result, but it's worth it

Strangely, I see you as Kermit on a lily-pad with a guitar...
