Just how bad is it going to be trying to commute down to London?

I am seriously considering not going to work until the M1 is open again, i imagine it is going to be total gridlock on the A5

Wonderful advice from the EXPERTS--avoid the area,s completely--Just use all the A-B-C-D routes you can find, cos youre on yer own.This will be good practice for when the Toll scams come in, and you have to find ££££££££££££ to stay alive.

My bro just phoned: he's on his way south to Leatherhead (work in the morning) - the overhead signs are saying that the M1 is closed at J21 - Leicester Forest!
However he's pressed on (cos everyone else was) and last heard was heading for J19...
