Online Betting

I occasionally have a calculated flutter online - typically with Ladbrokes / Bet365 or similar online bookmaker, and usually taking advantage of an offer / free bet of one kind or another.

I've been trying to get my head around the whole back / lay thing as offered by the likes of Betfair...I understand the basic principles, but struggle for sensible strategies etc...anyone recommend any essential reading?

They have a pretty comprehensive explaination, with examples, of each type of bet.

Basically BET is a convential bet you would place at Ladbrokes, Bet365, etc
LAY is you acting as the bookie.
