A rose by any other name?

[leftie]

I know job descriptions have been inflated over the years ( bin men now environmental managers etc)but I have just had to read a job application from someone who said that in the course of his job he carried out an 'environmental visual scanning process'.

Does that mean he went and had a look?

Does it matter? Do you really want to employ someone who can seriously use a phrase like that?

I am not employing him, but he obviously talks a good job. God forbid he be given real work to do.
