I'm taking a walk on the wild side tonight and instead of my normal 'bumburner' curry, I shall be tucking into a nice dish of oriental guise.

My normal.... well, thats either King Prawn with Black Bean Sauce and Green Pepper, or Fried Squid with the same Sauce and Pepper.

Chips are indeed involved again in this little feast, although I often steal some of the chicken fried rice from the ladies plate.

What shall I have instead?

Give it to me babies, what be it this evening?

SORE FINGER ?

Don't have chips from a Chinky.

Its just wrong.

I'm having shredded beef tonight, and the obligatory plawn clackers.

I make the chips at home, nice and crisp. Just how they should be.

Chicken, prawn and beef satay sticks with peanut sauce (if they have it, more Indonesian than Chinese but YUM)
Deep fried shedded chilli beef
Plain rice

Another vote for deep fried shedded chilli beef - although if it's a takeaway, some of them are not so good with this particular dish..

Not very - I normally have to add some chilli sauce to pep it up, but it depends on the chinese I suppose.

Depends on the place, but beef curries chinese style are very nice, or cantonese beef fillet. Don't forget the prawn crackers.

p.s. I always get a portion of chips to go with my chinese too

The world today seems absolutely crackers,
With nuclear bombs to blow us all sky high.
There's fools and idiots sitting on the trigger.
It's depressing and it's senseless, and that's why...
I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees,
Yet they're always friendly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
There's nine hundred million of them in the world today.
You'd better learn to like them; that's what I say.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They come from a long way overseas,
But they're cute and they're cuddly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese food.
The waiters never are rude.
Think of the many things they've done to impress.
There's Maoism, Taoism, I Ching, and Chess.

So I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
I like their tiny little trees,
Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin, and yang-ese.

I like Chinese thought,
The wisdom that Confucious taught.
If Darwin is anything to shout about,
The Chinese will survive us all without any doubt.

So, I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees,
Yet they're wise and they're witty, and they're ready to please.

All together.

[verse in Chinese]
Wo ai zhongguo ren. (I like Chinese.)
Wo ai zhongguo ren. (I like Chinese.)
Wo ai zhongguo ren. (I like Chinese.)
Ni hao ma; ni hao ma; ni hao ma; zaijien! (How are you; how are you; how are you; goodbye!)

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
Their food is guaranteed to please,
A fourteen, a seven, a nine, and lychees.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
I like their tiny little trees,
Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin, and yang-ese.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees...

Its OK. Me and the mrs regularly share an Oriental Ho infront of the fireplace once the nipper's asleep.

Doesn't cost too much and Mrs Lazy often ends up with sauce dribbling down her chin.
