What are the symptons of viral meningitus?

Calling the PH Doc's!!

Just had a text off a mate to say he's been admitted to hospital with viral meningitus. He had it badly last summer as well.

The problem he and a few others were down in Bournemouth staying with me last weekend.

Is it contiagous?

What are the symptons to look out for if it is?

Its very serious if not treated quickly. Death, brain damage are not uncommon. A mate had baterial menigitus which left him mentally damaged and a wreck.

Just had a text from him.

He's feeling rough and waiting for the test results to come back. Last time he had it he had to have lumber punctures etc so I think he's finding this stay easier so far!
