Got me a thinking this evening after 2 lovely glasses of crisp white Sauv Blanc! I know this is a car orientated site BUT how much of your life is car orientated? Is work a means to the next car, is every spare hour you have spent in the persuit of motoring happiness etc etc etc. I love cars BUT have let other priorities recently stop my persuit of motoring nirvana to the extent that I am wondering..."Am I the car nut I thought I was"?

I sometimes have those moments then walk into my lounge and spy the big pile of car parts waiting to be fitted and wonder how much it would cost to swap an M3 engine into my car.

I have a BMW E30 meet this weekend, a Lloyds Motor Club meet on Wednesday then a Pistonheads meet next weekend in Kent, oh and im one here a LOT

Just wish I was a bit more hands on doing upgrades to my car.

hmm, in the last 3 years I've gone from participating in one of the first banger rallies, to running three annaul banger rallies so - quite a lot i suppose!

i always said that when i reached 30 i would turn my life in a different direction other than something centered on the internet industry. i was only a couple of years late on that promise

Well at uni studying a car related subject.

When i go home i'm work on the Classic cars that need finishing. Also race classics.

Have large collection of models in room at home.

Saving up for my own classic whether british or American. (Insurance problem at moment)

Well seeing as 55 hours of my week are sent selling cars, another 13 hours driving to work to sell cars and the remaining time seeming to be split between driving for fun (Porsche blats, IAM, PCGB and TIPEC meets) and sleep I reckon most of my life is car orientated.

not as much as you guys it seems. my dad used to run a garage and i grew up with the smell of oily car parts which my dad used to leave around the home. nowadays its a means of getting from A to B i.e. for time-saving mostly; though i do enjoy going for a drive at the weekends.
spent much more of my time socialising, playing music (part-time guitarist), and house-related stuff. One day i'll get an NSX and inject a bit of petrol-hedonism back into my life...

Far too much!
Either cars or sex anyway, I think I must have been a man in a previous life. Even when I go out for dinner with the other half, we end up talking about cars and I measure the value of everything in car parts! Am I beyond help?

As I am employed by a car / truck company and my hobbies are cars I would say that the majority of my time is spent on car and truck related stuff.

Good job I enjoy it isn't it?
