Yes, I bought some via Wine Share at the Chateaux du Grand Mayne, you get invited to lots of events including harvesting and tastings, also some great discounts on wine

I would, the gift pack you get makes a superb gift on its own.

edited to add, unless they are teetotal, in which case don't bother....

Sell you shares in my back yard, three vines growing there last week, however with the current weather they are looking very sorry for themselves.

Bought the very same pressie for my Olds a few years ago, and got some great wine from them. They went over to France, saw all the vines, tasted loads of wines, and had a great time. Highly recommended pressie! They loved it!

Things must have changed since i did that for my hubby.
If I recall correctly we got a certificate and the option to buy some overpirced wine.
no visits
no tastings

I know that my Olds paid for the wine, but they got a discount and it was OK priced anyway. Really - they don't need an excuse to be encouraged to taste/purchase any wine, and enjoy France so looked forward to a long weekend with a purpose...and we benefitted too! Happy all round!

will add to this got it for my dad and he loved it.

Didnt really get him anything special he went to visit the vineyard and bought direct from the (but you could do that anyway)

But he did have a great time telling dinner guest that this wine was from his vineyard that his son bought for him, and then popping over to france to visit the "staff".

got mine through 3dwines (I think)
