We really need to slap the do gooders who say 'no death penalty, we live in a humane society' with a rubber fish and bring capital punishment back.

Is society really that humane when you have idiots running around doing this? Its not an uncommon thing anymore.

Sadly not. The exact same thing happened to a cousin of a friend of mine a few years ago. Didn't make the national press, though, as far as I am aware.

Maybe we need to be arming ourselves more. The government have done a good job at doing the opposite, only recently i heard there was a KNIFE amnesty going on in my area were people were asked to hand in all kinds of normally inoffensive kitchen utensils. Criminals are having a right laugh these days, we are literally a captive and unarmed audience

I was never a believer in Capital Punishment, its worth reading about Edith Thompson and the Bentley case to see what you think, however recently i have been swayed towards using CP for people like huntley,Yorkshire Ripper, and the person that callously shot the WPC the other day.

Concerning the last crim mentioned,
Talking with my father the other day,an 81 year old wise man,he said to me "A gun is not just a weapon ,its a tool,a tool meant for death".

Now i know these B******s killed this bloke with his own car,but did they intend to,ime not defending them...No way!, but if they knew that there was a bad life the other side of the prison wall would they have still commited this crime that led to his death?,we really need to look at the punishment system to put fear into the crim as a detterent.

It reminds me of the one in Luton a couple of years ago where a woman was putting her Megane in the garage and somebody car-jacked it. She tried to stop them and then got run over and dragged under the car to her death. It made the papers and TV for quite a few days.

It's absolutely shocking when something like this happens - makes me wonder if capital punishment ought to be re-introduced. Save us all £100k+++ a year keeping people like this in jail and rid society of them permanently.

Unfortunately in our soft, lentalist society, punishment does not feature, it is now correction, as a result scrotes get let off

Punishement is reserved for motorists and pensioners who withold a nominal amount of council tax....

Seems to me the only form of defence is attack: make sure they're dead and then walk away.
