I never believed that the Italians would become like the "Not In My Back Yard" Brits!

Christs sake.. How about an unbiased judge? Usless, dangerous, superflous and a detrimental effect on the enviroment? he doesn't exactly sound like he is taking an objective view... I'm sure it will be pretty simple to have this overturned.

Wouldn't have happened in the good old days. About time the barsteward judge woke up with a horse head in his bed.

This case should be overturned on appeal. Sounds like some cretinous judge trying to make a name for himself. Maybe the local town are looking for some free money for enduring the noise........... Nothing short of blackmail really........ hang on it is the good old days again..

Yep, Italy is becoming very eco-friendly, was over there a couple of weeks back, there is a ruling that states that only cars with certain prefixes/letters in the reg plate can be used one day, and vice versa the next, the only trouble with that is the people who are not allowed to drive that perticular day have to be picked up by someone else, usually having to drive miles to do so (as I witnessed!)thus causing more 'pollution' and as much traffic as before! You cannot smoke in ANY enclosed place too, not even bars! I thought (wrongly) that Italy would be the last country in Europe to sign up to such laws! Hey ho.
