Just broke my P900 phone need one to use at moment, help ?

Fecking broke the screen in my pocket, dropped the bugger god knows how many times no problems, pull it out of the pocket this time and screwed.

Any way need a phone for the moment, I would like something small + cheap, doesn't have to be lastest, don't need camera, games and all that jazz, just make phone calls.

Any suggestions

I've got one lying around in good condition (some minor scratches on the casing). I don't use it anymore 'cos its too bulky for me. It's locked to Orange though (you could get it unlocked though).

I had exactly the same problem on Wednesday, the touchscreen function on my P900 decided to stop working.
I called O2 and asked if I could get a free upgrade and they gave me a list of possibles.
After research, decided to go for a Sony Ericsson K750i, which seems quite spanky. Should be through the letterbox tomorrow, cost me nada.
So yeah, see if your operator will give you a free one.

Should mention tho, that the P900 started working again shortly after I ordered the new phone...

Try Ebay, brand new P900 screens are going for £45-60. Failing that, ring your phone co and ask how much they want for an upgrade. If it's really urgent, can't you go into Argos, buy the cheapest PAYG phone and bung your sim card in? I dunno if PAYG phones accept contract sim cards, but i can't see why not.

I just got an upgrade from Orange on the OVP Virgin tariff (that's the £0 per month contract...) with a S-E K700i for 30 quid. OK so it's an outgoing phone, but for 30 quid...
