I don't expect a wealth of serious knowledge, at this time of the evening, still you never know

you can see them on google earth if you know where to look - have seen them before and will try to find the link again but don't hold your breath.

Haven't sen that actuall one before, but ta anyway.

there was a pic once, of the old subs' resting on the bottom of a harbour
at all sorts of of angles, as they'd taken on water (in a bad way)

all apparently routinely checked for nuclear leaks....

Lookin on G-earth but the maps of the top of Russia
are to blurry.
they don't even glow in that charming radioactive green, which you might expect
to see according to the Striking dock workers

Is the picture you are looking for the one where the sub is half sunk in the middle of a small (natural?) harbour surrounded by high hills?

Well, no it was a number of them just dotted around a seemingly abandoned
harbour, with the conning towers dipped in the water on some.

Others partially (sunk) again on their sides, sterns down, etc

Well, oddly enough the 'widow'

with windows in the conning tower bit, is precisely the same looking craft
I remember

Do you think they'd take a fiver for it? I only want the reactor, to make a nuclear engine for my bike. They can keep the other bits.
