I'm sure this has been raised before but am I alone in finding this aspect faintly humorous: Parliamentary website language option

It is NOT my intention to seem scornful of Scottish culture; much classical literature has been written in this language but is it really needed for this site?

This is a stupid waste of time and money. Scots is not a written language anywhere in Scotland and there is no merit in this, other than as an amusing aside. Gaelic I can see the logic for, but not Scots.

Still, gives them something else to waste taxpayers' money on.

is it a spoof, or a serious part of the site?? if it is a spoof, it is funny, if not, the people involved should be ashamed of themselves... It is not a 'or Wullie website, (or however you spell it), but hiow can they have that as a serious part of their website? Is phonetic a language now? Could I go and take an exam in English, and have that pass, as I wrote phonetically??
