Transfering DVDs or Sky+ to my iPod?

Is it possible to transfer DVDs and/or Sky+ recordings to my video iPod? If so, anyone know how?

What computer do you have, Mac or PC?

If it's a Mac, get Handbrake (http://handbrake.m0k.org/)
This does DVD to any format conversion (including decrypting), and the forums discuss what to do about iPod video.
