Shed freezer problem
Discussion
Well I've got an upright freezer in the shed (5ft thing)
What I'm puzzled about is the fact that it seems to be sweating!!!.
Every day there are drips on the side and near puddles of water on the top (sort of melomine top), what's even more strange is that if anything is on top of the freezer for a period of time it freezes up!! for example I had an old beer towel on top of it and went back after a couple of days and it was frozen solid to the top!!!
Anyone any ideas as to what the hell is going on here?
Thanks guys

iirc fridges/freezers have to be warm to work efficiently, otherwise they don't get cold and sweat.
May be the shed is just too cold.
The warmth from the back is the heat extracted from the inside.
It may be working but it will be desperately inefficient. Depends what bothers you more, cost of a replacement or a 4x leccy cost.
