I'm thinking of buying my wife something a bit more creative for Christmas this year and so I am looking at Spa days.

There seems to be a nice one available at Utopia in Kent, has anyone used this place?

Has anyone gone on a Spa day?

There's only one Spa day worth having, and it's in Italy

I can't be bothered to do many posts, so i'll get the usual gags out the way first time..

Have you though about taking her up the oxo tower for dinner then giving her a Crystal horse and finishing off with explosives and a big bang..

We're going to have to institute a £5 penalty every time you mention the OXO now. It's cruelty to animals.

Spa days are great but better when you have someone with you, maybe you could go too as some venues welcome men.

I haven't been to the place you mentioned, but if you stretch it to a couple of days or a long weekend then you will score brownie points.

Those cheeky boys always ignore the fact that the thread starter wants replies from women.

If you are talking about the one at Rowhill Grange, then the answer is yes. WG and I had a weekend there a couple of years ago and it was fantastic.
Having said that I bought the Spa day for WG, my sister and niece as Christmas/Thank you presents last year. They all enjoyed themselves and said it was a good day, let down by the fact that a lot of the optional stuff needs to be booked in advance, otherwise if someone comes in and it's not booked then you don't get any priority.

The restaurant there is also superb, best quality food in the area IMHO.

I was hoping to avoid it as it seems rather boring

My Mrs goes to the Utopia near us, she absolutely loves the place. Her and a mate usually go together. A session is forming part of her Bday pressie next Month. Costs around £100-140 for the day.
