theres a really nice bit in the eiger sanction where the plot of the film pretty much relies on you reading a note Clint is sent, over his shoulder, at the same time he does. unfortunately, its written in the worst handwriting, ever.

for years i couldn't work out what 'be cold. dim all porcelain.' had to do with mountain climbing assassins.

George Kennedy is awesome in that movie.

After climbing to the top of the the chimney of rock

George:"well you did it, you got her cherry!"
Clint:" I thought you said you climbed it many times."
George:"you won't get far in life listening to an old liar like me!"

George:"You want a beer?"
Clint:"you hauled beer up this rock?"
George:"I may be dumb, but I'm not stupid! You did it's in your pack!"

Clint: (takes a swig of beer) "It's warm!!"
George:"I thought you'd draw the line at hauling ice!"


I love that movie.
