For some reason I just don't get Little Britain. I find it occasionally mildly amusing but often toe-curlingly embarrassing. As far as I'm concerned it just doesn't even feature in a lengthy list of television comedy greats. Unfortunately my girlfriend loves it and just can't see why I don't find it uproarious. She has bought tickets to the show in Bristol and I'm not looking forward to it at all. Would somebody please explain...?

I guess it's because they are pushing the boundaries of acceptable comedy. My mum and dad hate it, it could be a generation thing?
How old are you? (not meant in an offensive way)

37. Same age as Dennis. There's some lovely filth down 'ere. I'm not old.

Now there's genuinely funny comedy...

I have to say that at the tender age (?) of 26, I don't find it particularly funny. I understand the jokes, and at times it makes me laugh, but mostly I find it weakly done and far too obvious and repetitive. There are one or two great characters like Vicky Pollard, but...

Not one of comdey's greatest hits. Give me the fast show any day - gets funnier the more you watch it!

The fast show was fantastic at the beginning but the later series did get a little lame.
For proper comedy though you really couldn't beat The Mary Whitehouse Experience!

I went to see the 'Milky milky tour' that Punt and dennis did when I was in my early teens. It was soooooo funny!! Mary whitehouse is one of tho0se comedy series that never quiet got the credit it deserved.

Characters that just havent been done before.

Lucas is possibly one of the most talented character actors ever.

Look at its comedy peers, its head, shoulders, knees, toes, stepladder and a small box above them.

Oh I was quite young then, but I loved it! I remember the poltergeist who couldn't get himself noticed - brilliant.

I'd put 'Absolutely' (the Scottish guys) in the same category. But Little Britain just leaves me cold.

We're seeing it in Blackpool in December! We chose Blackpool because I was gonna have my Tam serviced at the factory at the same time, but they since have stopped servicing cars, typical! lol

I'm 14 and I hate it. I just don't find it remotely funny. I don't think it is to do with age. The rest of my year love it. Maybe it's just me...

just be glad u werent the bloke on the right..! i thought it was a cracking show, absolutely brilliant. Getting the chance to nonce Denise Van Outen and Lisa Snowdon during the interval also helped!
