There's this miserable old bugger who, on the last day of every month, parks his festering Rover in our Cul De Sac and shoves reams of crap through our letterboxes. This annoys me. I've asked him not to stick rubbish through my door, assured him that I'll never buy anything from any of the companies as a matter of principle and considered accidentally letting the Staffy out one day while he's walking up the path.

I've been collecting all the mailshots in a box by the door, intending to meet him one day and theatrically present it all back to him.

A glorious thing just happened. He parked his 214 outside my house and I rushed down to give him the (rather large) box. Unfortunately I was just too late - he was disappearing up the cul de sac with his trolley full of printed tat. And then I realised he'd left his car window partially open.

I just spent the last 10 minutes shoving lots of paper through his window - the quantity is just amazing. I'm now sitting looking at the car out of my office window, waiting for him to return. I can't tell you how pleased I feel with myself and I just can't wait to see his reaction!

I'll report back in a few minutes...

We get hundreds of then delivered to my block of flats, and no-one else collects them and throws them out. Same goes for free newspapers - if I'm away for a few days they just accumulate on the doorstep. Good on yer!

Oh God, I wish I had a camera to hand - I can't remember the last time I laughed until I cried! The old bugger just got back, opened car door and found what must be 500 individual leaflets, brochures and flyers stuffed in his car. He's currently out there scratching his head, looking all around and speaking on a mobile, all at once.

Wonder if he's got the message?!!
