Ebay seller ripping off my ad.

I'm currently trying to clear out some junk from the attic and yesterday I listed a pair of speaker stands for sale on E Bay.
I checked my listing this morning, and had a look at what other speaker stands are for sale.
Another e bayer has copied the wording from my ad virtually word for word and has used it for his own speaker stands.
I'm rather pissed off, and although my ad is no work of art, I think the other guy should have used his own imagination a bit more.
I'd like suggestions from the PH massive on how to exact a teensie bit or payback. I'm thinking of sending him some Nigerian type emails.

I have had this before - just email him and tell him this contravenes ebay's seller guidelines, and that the least he could have done would have been to ask. Tell him you will repost him to ebay if you haven't heard from him in 24hrs.

The guy who did it to me apologised profusely and changed his advert.

He was probably just a bit unsure as to what to put to ad the stands. He saw yours and thought it was good. I wouldn't worry.

Gaffer had this happen to her with her Suzuki too IIRC... I wouldn't worry.. I did it to someone else when I sold some Le-Mans tickets as I didn't have the energy to type out all the official blurb that the ACO put out... I think the guy who's ad I copied had done the same from someone else.

Does it really matter..?
