As a big Mick Hucknall and "Simply Red" fan I am off to see the maestro in action tonight, but I can't understand why multi-talented red Mick is so reviled by people,:scratchchin: I guess they must be jealous of all his Ferraris and girlfriends.....:hehe:

Why all the negativity though? He and his band have done some cracking songs, hes a great singer.......why not take the p1ss out of a boyband instead?

I think he's 'kin brilliant and have done since I first heard Holding Back The Years as a kid. I've got all their albums and had the pleasure of seeing them about 18 months ago, they were excellent.

Unfortunately, the years haven't favoured him in the looks dept (IMHO). Just 2 days ago I was watching Something Got Me Started on the Greatest Hits DVD and the difference between him then and now is scary. In fairness, it was made about 14/15 years ago.

As for being a Man Utd fan, at least he's actually from Manchester...
