Just wondered if there are any extra insurance requirements with garage security etc for the Zonda - or super cars like these?

Toying with buying? Yep, if my lotto numbers come up! ;):hehe:

I am curious to whether it is even possible to get insured on a Zonda if your 19 years old.

And if i have got quoted 18k for insurance on my Tuscan, what the quote would be like for the Zonda?

Absolutely possible, everything is possible to insure if you have deep enough pockets.

I don't think the risk of a 19 year old in a Pagani Zonda will really be that much greater than a 30 year old driving one.

I don't think the insurance company(s) will see it that way?

Wasn’t there a company that used to claim they could insure any one? I think it was called “Saber” or something like that.

Renewed my own policy with a new company last Friday actually and was unpleasantly surprised to find it was $400NZ (I think that’s about 150 pounds sterling). I can’t believe how expensive it is actually! I need some more good clean driving for a while yet . Mind you I also notice the price of petrol is falling significantly at the moment which may offset it in the long term.
