Can any of the PH masif Mortgage experts let me know if there is an Abbey Self-sert offering with a 95% LTV.

I am being told there is and I find it hard to believe any lender is daft enough to offer it...

Cheers

What's daft about owning 'your' house ?

I'll be looking for one of those self-certs too, once I've got the missus kicked into touch.

Oh dear

95% loan to value yes correct.

Unusual on a self cert becaise lenders are taking a greater risk.

Talking of mortgages, has anyone got a formula I can put into Excel that will enable me to calculate monthly (repayment) mortgage payments with the following inputs: term of mortgage in years, amount borrowed, prevailing interest rate.

TIA if anyone can oblige.

Not a chance! Abbey don't technically do self certs, the do non-verification mortgages which means they can at any point ask for proof of income.

You can get 90% self certs (not from Abbey)and a 95% mortgage which will ask for no income proof if you are lucky.

Email me you exact requirements and I will tell you what you can do.

Obviously you need to speak to a proper mortgage advisor blah blah

But I was of the opinion that the better rates were only available on 80% (ish) and lower.
