Contact your service provider. They'll give you a big long code of #### and **** and such, with it ending in a number thats a multiple of 5, up to about 30 seconds I think.

And the reason they make it so difficult is because they get twice as much money out of missed calls.

On my old O2/Phillips it was:

**61*901*11*20#

where 20=number of secs to wait before going to voicemail. This may or may not still work but won't cost you anything to try

I'll get you the exact code from work tomorrow. You may find that you need to get the 'operator controlled divert to voicemail' switched off, as cancelling the diverts on the handset alone may not work. you can then select the length of time you want your handset to ring before going to VM, or even have it ring and ring and ring...

cheers

It's a system thing - nothing to do with the 'phone:

Step 1: Obtain your full voicemailbox number by keying in *#104# SEND, jot down the number returned (takes a few seconds and it will start with 44 and look like a mobile phone number)

Step 2: Key in **61*+(voicemail number from above)*10*(number of seconds delay, 5 to 45 in multiples of 5 seconds)# SEND.

Example **61*+447775123456*10*45# SEND will ring for 45 seconds, before diverting to +447775123456.

I *think* 30 secs is the maximum, and that it only works on phones that are on a contract.
