...one night apart?

The reason I ask is that probably my all time favourite band Bauhaus are reforming for four gigs in February, I am definate;y going to the Brixton Academy gig but I am tempted to go to Birminghamm the night before?

Anyone done similar, if so what did you think is it worth it?

Pete Murphy, no way, he just looks a bit pale - it's a gothic thing!

Yeah, Pete Murphy has always looked dead!! This thread had forced me to go and play the definitive version of Ziggy Stardust.

As a band member I can deffo say that all performances are different.

If you have the time and the cash then why not.

went to see a band called Streetlight Manifesto at the Camden Underworld one night, back to Bristol at 2am, then upto Birmingham to see them the next night. Very tiring but well worth it.... they are touring again in November. Anyone like their ska fast and tight should not miss it...

I saw Hawkwind three nights in a row many years ago. Guildford Civic Centre and then the Hammersmith Odeon (Palais, or whatever they call it now) twice.

I couldn't hear for a week!

Did the singer sing consistently out of tune over both the gigs then???

Dream Theater - 2 nights in a row in London on 6 degrees tour - mind blowingly fantastic. They've just done 2 nights in London followed by a night in Wolverhampton and I'd have gone to all 3 if I'd been able to (Wifes and Babies eh !)

Freak Of Nature - Dundee, then next night Glasgow - well worth it (even though the second night was in Glasgow)

NBZ, great little band, bettered only by the late Mean Red Spiders. Saw them a couple of years ago supporting Feelgood, who were crap and a couple of years before that supporting The Blues Band, who were impeded by Their frontmans enormous ego, Paul Jones was it?. NBZ came out with some amazing improv, hope they keep it going

Dream Theater hey - Went and saw those guys years ago in Milton Keynes (some leisure centre or something), got to meet the guys before the gig . The singer pranced on stage in a blaze of lights and hair which he promptly got caught in the tuning pegs of the bass...

and Freak of Nature - theres a blast from the past!!! What ever happened to that album I wonder....

i went to see depeche mode 2 nights on the trot, they always put on a superb show (except when dave was coming off the H). one was at the crystal palace bowl, (which was amazing!) which was full to capacity and the second at wembley arean - felt like a pub gig in comparison!.

. bauhaus were a blast last time round so i'll definately be going to the first show. get yourself down the front and pretend your 16 again!! "take a fish!... and a potatoe!.."

have tried to see Hawkwind many a time - but their gigs got cancelled for one reason or another... finally managed to see them 2 years ago at Notts Rock City, then Blackburn Georges Hall earlier this year...

Hawkwind seem to be perminantly on tour...
