An early dinner...

...or as we say round these parts, a late tea.
A couple of generous glasses of Jura single malt, followed by a decent red as I put the fillet steaks on the cast iron griddle. Nicely steamed asparagus with plenty of butter and a sprinkling of salt topped off with a poached egg. An oven full of chips.
Cant work out how I managed it for all three of us, merry as I am, even washed up as I went along. Dinner is served and the kitchen is immaculate too. Treacle tart and custard next.
A nice quite Friday eveNing in :)
where did that capital 'N' come from?
Gonna get back on the Jura now, it's bloody lovely.

I don't know what I find funnier warben, the image of you with a chef's hat and a glass of red swaying as you put the chips in the oven, or the fact that in between courses you've logged on here to explain it! ![]()
But I'm about to join you in the dodgy typing steaks
see what I did there? Stakes/Steaks?
