About to reformat my Sky package, fed up of paying too much money to Murdoch.

So is there a website which will tell me exactly which channels are included in all the various packages?

Sky's own site gives a short list of examples for each option and then the ubiquitous, and many more exciting channels. But what are these supposed channels then muppets?

PS Obviously the muppets tag applies to Murdock et al within Sky. Equally clearly anybody who is intelligent and sophisticated enough to read and post on PH is not a muppet, apart from me that is.

From what I've seen FiF,they make it easy to upgrade but more difficult to downgrade your Sky package.

I've always found Sky's package change line extremely efficient and helpful. Within a couple of minutes I've downgraded my package and the update had been sent to my boxes. I even had the resultant credit applied to my account as the tasty sounding Scottish bird promised.

Anyone got the number, most of the Sky site seems geared to new customes.

Or can anyone direct me to a bit on their site to see what packages are available to existing customers

bliarout, cable not an option, thanks for offering though. One of the penalties of living in an area where everyone (well everyone else!) marries their cousin. Give me six bro! (To nick a line off Dibble)

Well had another look at their site and rang them up. I like films but it seems that you have to take 2, 4 or 6 "Mix" pagages if you want the films

I had the World package, which is everything, but previously knocked the sports channels off so works out at £36 pcm

If I lose 4 "mix" packages I can save £1 pcm.

They wont let me have freeview and just the films

Update, blitzed sport and film packages, went down to 4 of the mix packages. No fuss, next month bill will be nothing and month after that half of what it has been.

Only difficulty was a very long 15 minute wait on phone for an "advisor," who incidentally clearly had a female name but definitely sounded like a bloke.
