Well first of all hi to everyone this is my first post.

I've just spent the weekend in Reims having the absolute time of my life! A mini ph 'end of season' trip. Having never met anyone on the trip before (bar tony h who i went with)i was a bit apprehensive, but EVERYONE without exception was fantastic. I can see why nick's official hoon trips are so popular.

The weather was perfect with the exception of england and calais on friday morning! the roads were spot on as was the scenery, and the evening meals were just a laugh a minute.

The ladies took me under their wings, making me an honoury girly for the saturday meal. I certainly won't be forgetting that in a hurry! ;)

Anyway...the point is i want to thank everyone involved this weekend for being absolute stars, hope to see you soon.

ps Ed and Mel....good to hear you got to the tunnel ok, hope the remainder of the journey was ok too!

I'm going out in about an hour, but I'll try and sort a couple out before then.

Incredible weekend. Laughed so much that I feel as if someone's been sat on my chest. What excellent company

Stu - glad to hear you weren't too traumatised by Saturday night

I think all the ladies will agree it was a pleasure

We had a fantastic time, thanks to Nick for putting it all together and inviting us.

The company was great, my sides still ache from all the laughing.

Many thanks to the ladies who gave up their comfy seats, I hope being 'Wedge Girl' wasn't too much of an ordeal. Jeremy your Aston is sublime Rich I'm still

Pictures to follow....

The first part of that sentence I like... though I trust someone has a photo of you as 'honorary girlie'??!!

Nick, well done, a brilliantly organised weekend, the company, roads, driving and food were absolutely faultless.
As the others have said, I haven't laughed so much in ages.

I hope I didn't traumatise anyone too much when they passengered in the Wedge

Thanks everyone, here's to the next one.

It was great to have your company. Most men would have paid good money to be sat where you were

Welcome to PH Stuart! There's no going back now you know

Not much more to add really - it was a cracking trip, with great weather, fantastic roads and you couldn't wish for better company.

Thanks again to Nick for organising it - Mel and I thought it was the perfect blend of having everything organised, but with the flexibility to do your own thing if and when you felt like it.

I'm also happy to report that we made it back in one piece after cruising back at 50mph all the way. Car will be booked in for a new set of boots and a suspension alignment check very soon

I would like to thank everyone for what was a truly wonderful weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company and had such a laugh - especially at dinner on the last night The roads and scenery were superb and the weather was perfect. We had some fantastic drives.

Adam had a great time too and enjoyed meeting all of you. He was a bit put out that he wasn't our honourary girlie though

Thanks too to Nick for organising such a great trip. It was a lovely way to end the summer. I can't wait until the next one now

I can't believe that I managed to get it sideways round a bend with him in it. I think I owe him some new pants I let him drive back from Northampton (aren't I mean)? Just before I nodded it off he was having fun playing with the throttle and getting the induction kit to growl

Many of mine cannot be posted for legal reasons - particularly 'the one' I took on the train .

But here's one from the Veuve Clicquot car park
